Hello!

I have been quilting for almost 25 years. Back in nursing school, I was looking for a relaxing hobby so I learned how to quilt. I have always gravitated towards keeping my hands busy and creating has been an easy way to settle my mind and keep my hands busy. I started out hand-piecing and quilting, and I fell in love with watching the quilt come to life during the quilting process.

After my Mother-in-law bought me a sewing machine for my 19th birthday, I still hand-quilted because I just loved the process. Then, kids came along and time to hand quilt was hard to find.

I saw my first longarm machine at QuiltCon in 2018, and I fell in love! I’ve been dreaming of starting my longarm business ever since! Finally in 2020, my husband surprised me with my current Handi-Quilter machine! Quilting is still my favorite part of the process. I love the extra layer of depth and character that is added to the quilt top by adding a quilting design.

I have a wonderfully supportive husband and two amazing boys. I’m also Mom to a sweet Jack Russell Terrier and a Weimaraner.  When I am not in my quilting studio, you can find me homeschooling my two boys, driving them back and forth to ALL of the things, traveling and RVing with my family!
